New in 2008 Membership will include one ISDS membership.

• The IDLA is the link to the dental profession. As your representative at the local and state levels, the IDLA promotes, supports, and keeps you informed of the issues and policies that directly affect our industry. The IDLA also produces voluntary leadership that makes a difference within our profession.
• The IDLA has a presence on the Internet. Among other things, our idla.com site lists all members and allows dentists & users to search for their lab needs. This is a great marketing tool, as the Internet has become an integral part all business. Visit idla.com, and see what our site has to offer.
• In Touch With The IDLA is our quarterly newsletter. In Touch helps to keep all members informed and involved with their IDLA. We also issue an annual directory to facilitate networking with your peers.
• The IDLA provides a variety of both managerial and educational opportunities. We sponsor an annual educational seminar. Additionally, we co-sponsor the Midwest Spring Technical Meeting and meetings with the Chicagoland Dental Technicans’ Study Group.
• The IDLA provides additional industry support through their contributions to the SIU Dental Technician Scholarship Program, National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped and the IL State Dental Society Foundation..
• IDLA membership provides a sense of community, and gives you and your peers the opportunity to speak with a single voice on matters of importance to our industry. The IDLA community also gives members the opportunity to share ideas and network with colleagues in the field.
